The process of recycling solid construction waste continued in the Darnytskyi District.
As a reminder, back in June 2020 the TERESHCHENKO Group of Companies had already partnered with the Darnytskyi District Administration to recycle construction waste and manage accumulated debris. Read more.
In Ukraine, and in Kyiv in particular, a challenging situation has developed around the disposal of solid construction waste.
In order to develop practical measures for the district and the city, the Darnytskyi District State Administration planned a series of pilot initiatives aimed at processing residual solid construction waste — after all, this category of material can be put to a second use!
And now, when “construction waste” is processed, coarse and fine gravel, metal, and sand are sorted out separately, all of which can be reused in construction!
“This is a striking example of effective synergy between government and private business, where both sides benefit from a common cause. The Darnytskyi District is always open to interesting pilot projects,” noted Yaroslav Lahuta, Head of the Darnytskyi District State Administration.
A “Memorandum on Cooperation and Collaboration in the Field of Construction Waste Disposal (Recycling) within the Darnytskyi District of the City of Kyiv” has now been prepared.
The Darnytskyi District Administration continues to work on keeping the district clean and on clearing numerous abandoned sites. We are delighted that the TERESHCHENKO Group of Companies is taking part in this process, making Kyiv an even cleaner and more beautiful city!
