Demolition Sequence

Power plant demolition follows a strictly defined sequence:

Demolition of building foundations (excluding the dam itself) — typically using explosive methods;
Removal of construction waste from demolished buildings.

At the preparatory stage, specialist machinery is brought on site, and all active utilities and electrical networks are disconnected by qualified personnel familiar with the specific characteristics of each system. After the preparatory phase is complete, the main dismantling proceeds from the auxiliary electrical systems (cables, power transformers, switching equipment) through to all remaining utilities and auxiliary structures.
