Sadly, the war in our country has damaged a great many buildings of every kind.
Despite the danger, the TERESHCHENKO Group of Companies began carrying out demolition work and contributing to the restoration of Ukraine’s buildings.
The first site was the Retroville shopping mall, which had opened only on 30 May 2020. Unfortunately, as a result of a direct missile strike and the fire that followed, it was severely damaged and partially destroyed. Yet with the right approach from construction-industry experts, the opportunity to restore it emerged.
The first stage was an inspection of the destruction by city services, the police, the State Emergency Service (SES), sappers, and other representatives of the authorities and specialized services.
The second stage, following calculations and special operations, was the partial demolition of the damaged elements of the reinforced concrete structures.
As you know, the experienced specialists of the TERESHCHENKO Group of Companies have vast experience in carrying out complex partial-demolition work on buildings. This makes it possible to save considerable money and time on the restoration or redevelopment of buildings and structures. The work at the Retroville shopping mall became yet another test of the professionalism of all our specialists.
Our team was assigned the following tasks:
1. Demolition of part of the reinforced concrete floor slabs between the first and second storeys of the twelve-storey building;
2. Preservation of all undamaged elements of the building;
3. Clearing of the site;
The work is carried out under especially hazardous conditions and demands not only the professionalism of the excavator operators but also the very latest, most modern machinery. This makes it possible to perform all the work not only without delays but also with maximum safety for everyone involved.
