The demolition of chimneys involves a great many risks and ranks among the highest in terms of complexity and danger.
As part of a comprehensive package of construction work for “A Development”, the experts of the TERESHCHENKO Group of Companies were tasked with demolishing a chimney.
Chimney height: 45 m.
Construction material: brick, concrete
Given the proximity of groundwater, the height of the chimney, and the solidity of the structure, the decision was made to carry out a gradual, manual dismantling of the chimney. This allowed us to avoid significant risks to the company’s personnel, the construction machinery, and the neighboring buildings.
The concrete foundation of the chimney was demolished using a HYUNDAI R330LC-9S crawler excavator fitted with a high-power SOOSAN SB121 hydraulic breaker.
