Contributing to the improvement of our capital is always an important and responsible undertaking. We have repeatedly collaborated on numerous projects aimed at cleaning up and improving Kyiv.
This time, the team of the TERESHCHENKO Group of Companies carried out work on a site in the very heart of Kyiv — on Arsenalna Square!
A great deal of work has already been completed as part of the Arsenal Factory reconstruction project, restoring and making safe the disused buildings that had been on the verge of disappearing. They have also been opened up to residents and visitors of the capital.
Our team was assigned the following tasks:
1. Demolition of the building;
2. Removal of construction waste;
3. Excavation of a pit for installing the fountain and developing the square.

The main challenges we resolved in the course of the demolition work:
1. The building is located in the very center of the city, next to residential houses and open areas with many people relaxing.
We had to ensure the process was as quiet as possible, prevent any dust from escaping beyond the site, and keep the area safe.
2. The structure was annexed to another building, which created additional difficulties during demolition.
It was extremely important not to damage the main building in any way and to perform the demolition with maximum precision.
3. Speed. We were given 30 days to complete the demolition work along with full site clearing.
As always, time was tight and work had to begin immediately. On top of that, the deadlines for completing the tasks were as compressed as possible.

In just 15 days (twice as fast), our team:
– Fully demolished the structure without any damage to the adjacent building. Volume: 2,500 m³;
– Dismantled and sorted the construction
