To prepare the construction site for the next stage of works, it was necessary to demolish the old buildings. In total, the site contained five structures ranging from one to three storeys. The condition of the buildings ranged from satisfactory to hazardous.
Volume of demolition works – 6,000 m³
As always, a key factor was the precise and timely completion of all works. All industrial demolition works at the site were completed within 20 working days, considerably faster than the deadlines specified in the contract.
Two VOLVO EC 220DL excavators fitted with SOOSAN SB 70 hydraulic hammers were used for the works, along with SCANIA P400 and VOLVO FM 400 dump trucks.
