The main complexity of the project was the demolition of a non-residential premises connected to a high-rise residential building. Completing the task required highly precise calculations of all processes, high-quality equipment, and the best specialists.
The connection between the non-residential building and the residential building was made in the form of an arch with a premises above it (fig. 1). At the time the works were carried out, the premises above the arch had been privatized and had effectively become part of an apartment. The slightest inaccuracy in calculations or work could have led to serious consequences and lawsuits.
It was also necessary to preserve part of the non-residential premises at the rear of the building (fig. 2), which also significantly complicated the works and the movement of equipment to the site.
All works were completed within clearly defined deadlines, fulfilling all the tasks set:
– The specified facility was demolished while preserving the arch with the residential premises and part of the building (on the rear side).
– Construction waste was recycled and removed.
